I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your despatch No.84 of the 29th March, 1950 and of the enclosures thereto. I will inform you in due course of the date on which the Letters Patent are brought into operation. See 13
2. I would be grateful if you would provide two copies of each of the following documents referred to in Lord Lloyd's
(2) on 54055/40 Despatch No.299 of the 17th October, 1940 of which a copy was
received with Mr. Creech Jones' Despatch No.217 of the 13th
(3) a'49 September, 1949.
(1) Nyasaland Crown Lands Ordinance.
(2) Fiji Crown Lands Ordinance, 1888.
(3) British Guiana Crown Grants (Governor's Signature)
Ordinance, 1930
and of any subsequent and more up-to-date legislation which might be of use in drafting similar measures for Hong Kong.
